What is a meat resting blanket?
It is a thermally insulated, machine washable blanket that is placed over
the foil and grilled meat so that it stays hot while resting, improving the
tenderness and juiciness of the meat.

What is "resting"
Resting is a term used to describe the step AFTER grilling when the meat is removed from the heat to finish cooking. The 10 to 30 minutes AFTER the meat is removed from the grill is one of the MOST IMPORTANT STEPS in achieving perfectly tender and juicy meat from the grill. This period of time is called "Resting". As grilling gurus will instruct, "…let your grilled meat rest after you remove it from the grill"

Why is 'resting' important?
Because it gives the juices time to permeate the meat for a more tender and juicy piece of meat.

What happens if I don't rest the meat?
Two things:
1) The meat cools and who likes to eat cooled meat!
2) Second…If you serve and cut into meat when removed from the grill, the juices and moisture will run out instead of staying in the meat.
And who likes dried meat!
